2E Cubed – This triple imposition of Jim Hall and his revolutionary Chaparral 2E pays homage to the other-worldly shape of the car and the man who produced it. There is a wing on the struts at the back of the car that is out of sight in this interpretation, as the artist, Greg Davis wanted to concentrate on the unique contours of the body.
Hall competed in Formula One from 1960 to 1963, participating in 12 World Championship Grands Prix and numerous non-Championship races. He scored three World Championship points. The red, white and blue coloring is in honor of Hall's home state of Texas.
One of a limited edition of 200, printed on archival paper, dimensionally identical to the original 29x13" watercolor painting. Numbered and re-signed by the artist with certificate of authenticity included.
